Thousands of these filters have been sold over the years. The original TRUFLO filter was designed, tested and introduced into the TRUVU line in 1989. The heavy �� cell cast acrylic construction follows the traditional lines of early �Trickle Filters�, upgraded, over time, to enhance functionality. The filter features an ammonia tower, with cover and drip tray. The filter body is large and capable of accommodating a wide range of protein skimmers.
